This happens to "The Boy" quite often. He falls asleep in the dryer. Of course it's never turn it on while he is inside. He just looks looks like he as been tumbled dry.
Bill and Kitty stayed home tonight and reflected on the New Year that is just around the corner. Then the household watched Predator vs Alien. Badtz always favors the Predator creature, even when it was up against Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura.
In case anyone was interested. Badtz is still okay. The demons have stayed away and that is all good for the Holidays! She has been a little angel. Why the other day, the Holiday Inn Express called and asked for her. She has a start date of Jan 2. Her bed-making skills has finally paid off!
The Exorcist come to the house over the weekend to rid Badtz of the demonic spirit embedded in her soul. You know, the Devil. It took a while and she was a bit resistant but we got it out of her. As you see now, she is the picture of sweetness and light.
This picture was taken by a camera Bill and Kitty bought from a strange old fellow on the street. Actually, it was a pretty dark alley and he was hunched over a trash bin fire. The old fellow said that it a special camera, one that captures the true nature of the subject.
After the wash was dried, Tobey decided to sit inside it. He invited the neighborhood gnome to join him. The dryer has become the "man cave." All they need now is a neon Schlitz King of Beer sign hanging over them! Next they'll invite Vive and her canine buddies in to play cards!
Badtz spends much of her time observing everyday events in this position. Her outlook on life is anything but ordinary. She is either like this or in the Avocado position with her head below the hole. Don't get too close to her though or you'll get some fine scratches on your nose!
Miss Texas was sleeping on the stack of towels. Bill and Kitty wanted to capture a picture of her lounging on it like the Princess and the Pea. But no, she had to get up and stagger on top of the stack.
Now she sulks but she is still on the table. Don't make eye contact with her or you'll go down the deep end. T'Paw, ha!
You can see why Badtz sleeps with half her body through the hole in the pedestal. She needs a fast escape! Sometime she'll crawl up backward as if you were watching her go down the pedestal in reverse. You never know with her.
It's overcast and chilly outside. Badtz has the right idea. Sometimes it's okay to take your pet's example and be a sleepy-head.
Tobey is a remarkably handsome cat. He has a nice gentle purr and an intricate kneading style. He never has to look far for admirers.
While watching an episode of Dexter there was a jumping sound coming from the dining room.
Badtz does the Avocado Dance every now and then. Okay, every night. Bill and Kitty will just have to capture it on video.

Never has anyone seen such enthusiasm on the field! Gooooaaalllll!! Vive is about to head kick this ball into the Gooooaaaallll!
This afternoon, the Animal Planet Dog Championship show was on TV. The Gordon Setter won the Sporting Group and Badtz decided then, that's what she wants to be when she grows up. Bill and Kitty told her they're smart dogs and she had a long way to go (notice how she doesn't even know NOT to lounge over a hole in a pedestal).
Our neighbor has found another group of feral cats in the neighborhood. She was able to capture this little kitten in the picture and is staying with her. He'll get neutered and all shots on Sunday. Here is a link for the webpage with more pictures and our neighbor's contact information.
A Badtz doppelganger was spotted on Telegraph Hill in San Fancisco. It was skulking about under a tree. The Double ran up the tree after this shot was snapped and slunk down behind a crossing branch. If it wasn't for the sudden movement of El Diablo Double Bill and Kitty would never know the Wild Parakeets were there.
Eight Below was on television today so it had to be watched.
Tobey was sitting on Kitty's lap watching TV when he saw a spider walk across the floor. He jumped down and started torturing it. Of course, his little cat pal Badtz had to get in on the fun and started tormenting the spider too. Both took turns patting the thing around and chewing it. But never to the point of death as the poor thing was still wiggling about. Finally Tobey gobbled the spider down. Badtz swatted Tobey on his head shortly after that. Think she wanted to play more.
Dogs hang all their hope on a ride in the car. All dogs want to ride in the car! Doesn't matter what where you're going, how far you're going to drive. It is just the best thing in the world! Vive, heads to the door whenever there is key noise. Bill and Kitty can't count the times they get up to go the bathroom only to be herded to the back door.
It's been quiet at the house. Mr. and Mrs. Bendable were re-arranged so that they look like an ice dancing couple.
While Badtz is being her bad self Miss Texas enjoys the comfort of the warm dryer. Its fun watching her get excited when she sees Bill or Kitty loading the washer. Poor-thing. Old cat hips and scraggly fur. She'll probably live to be 30!

Bill and Kitty came home to a suspiciously quiet house. Vive rushed to the open door, happy to see them. Tobey and Miss Texas were sunning themselves on the dinning room table. That's when it was noticed that something was not right.
October is a weird month in California. The weather can be sunny and in the 80's or it can be dark and cold like it is today. Guess the weather is just weather. It'll do what it wants.
